Our Team

Naguib earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1999. He has qualified as a charter member of the Elder Planning Councilor program of the “Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies” (CIEPS) in January 2006. Naguib is a practitioner member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Canadian Institute of Financial Planners (CIFPs).

His home base since 1992 has been Investment Planning Counsel of Canada and its predecessor company AFP Wealth Management. He is the Manager in the Mississauga South Branch.

Naguib is a leader in his profession:

• Is the first chapter leader in the Mississauga/Toronto chapter of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners (CIFPs).
• Is the first Canadian member of Nazrudin Project, a think tank that delves into money issues and approaches planning from a life values perspective. Naguib co-hosted a think tank for Nazrudin members from North America, England and Canada in April 2006.
• Served as the 2004 Chair of the International Advisory Council of the Financial Planning Association (FPA)
• Was profiled in Investment Executive magazine August 2005 issue.
• Taught the CFP course at Sheridan College to financial planners for three years.

Naguib believes in being active in the community:

• Is a founding member and the 2003 - 04 chair for the Lakeview Business Association.
• Has been an active leader and fundraiser for Scouts Canada since 1989.
• Has been the benefactor of the “Kerba Award” for business students at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School since 1999.

Naguib has been married to Donna Kerba since 1976. They have two children - Tara and Christopher. Naguib and Donna enjoy travel, history and art. They traveled extensively to further pursue these interests. Naguib’s past includes a career in professional photography - his work appears in private collections on four continents. He plans to publish a selection of his photos in an upcoming book. Other personal interests include wilderness canoeing, birding, hiking and stargazing.
